Infinity Venture Group Introduces Infinity Fund I

Rockville, Maryland (February 9, 2004) – Infinity Venture Group (IVG) today announced the introduction of Infinity Fund I.  The seed  stage fund is targeted to be worth $30-50M and will be focused on the transfer of grant funded university technologies into promising and profitable commercial ventures.

The company's directors will leverage relationships with universities and technology labs within the bioscience, IT and emerging technology fields in MD, MA and NC to identify the best investment candidates. 

Technologies being considered for inclusion in the portfolio are evaluated and, if accepted, enrolled in IVG's six-step Commercialization Foundry.  The process provides a framework to analyze a technology's commercial feasibility, valuation, and to develop the most effective business model for economic return. The Commercialization Foundry also provides a framework for developing management to execute plans and audit venture performance, and complete follow-through with ongoing strategic planning and exit strategy management.
